Another Birthday? You Had One Last Year!

Here was the Card Michelle and I made for her...
This last Friday was Marie's 16th Birthday!! My, my! How time flies! Most of the day, the kids had school and Dad, Michelle and Chris were at work, so we extended Marie's birthday to Saturday as well. But she did open a few of her presents on the day.

Michelle, Chris and I composed a poem for her which Michelle wrote inside the card. It ran:

You're a girl of sixteen, as sweet as can be,
Called by Ree-Bee, Reep-a-cheep and Marie.
Be it dinner or dishes
Or making stuff that's delicious,
You always help out so cheerfully.

Even when the going is rough,
You stick it out, because you're tough.
Whether coping with siblings
Or frantically doing things,
You're always there and never say, "Enough!"

Ree-Bee, dear, you've become a young lady,
Learning to juggle things more weighty.
So whether crying or laughing,
Or singing or talking,
We love you, Marie, as we will when you're eighty!

...and everyone signed it!

You know, it always impresses me how much effort you guys put into things of this nature.
