I...I..

Things that have sharp sides can have pretty good grip on squishy substances, like an eye. Unfortunately for me, this was all too true. I went to the doctor to get something out of my eye. As it turns out, it was a sharp tiny foreign object, barely big enough to see, with a smooth and sharp side. you can guess which end was in my eye.

The eye doctor, Dr. Rice, (who is really nice,) was able to get it out very easily. She said that I have a small hole there, but that it should heal up nicely in a few days. I actually had this in my eye for 4 1/2 days. It was right where my eye lids meet and in the middle of the iris. She also said that if it had been closer to the edge of the iris, it would have been a lot more painful. I am very grateful that it was not. And the really nice this is that I don't have much infection at all. I have some cream that I have to put in my eye about 3 times a day, which can be rather awkward due to the fact that it makes my vision in that eye all fuzzy. But all in all, I must say it was a pretty nice day.
